Temporary Road Between Ballater and Braemar Completed ahead of Schedule
The motion
That the Parliament notes the news that the temporary road replacing the section of the A93 between Ballater and Braemar that was washed away by the River Dee during Storm Frank has been completed ahead of schedule; believes this to be highly encouraging; appreciates what it considers the sterling work by Aberdeenshire Council Infrastructure Services and the huge amount of effort by everyone who has been involved in reconnecting the village of Braemar to the rest of Deeside, and understands that the 120-mile detour that was put in place is no longer neccessary.
