The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Vanessa Murray, who is formerly from Cupar, on being named in Drapers’ annual list, 30 under 30, which, it understands, records people who are considered the rising fashion retail stars aged 30 or under and recognises their career development, key achievements and future potential; understands that Vanessa, who is head of ladieswear at A Hume, is listed alongside representatives of prestigious retail companies, including Hugo Boss and Harvey Nichols; congratulates her on what it considers this exceptional recognition for a young person; believes it to be particularly impressive achievement in light of her having severe dyslexia; commends her on what it sees as her excellent work outwith her profession in trying to provide further education and support on the topic of dyslexia, and wishes Vanessa the very best for the future.
