Sporting Success for Eastwood High School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Eastwood High School pupils Jamie Sturrock, Erin Wallace and Clare Wallace on their recent sporting success; notes that Jamie won gold and Erin set a new UK record in the under-17 800m at the Scottish Senior Indoor Athletics championships; further notes that Clare won bronze in the 13 to 14-year-old 200m freestyle and silver in the 100m freestyle at the Scottish Schools swimming final; believes that the pupils deserve their success, and hopes that this will encourage others at Eastwood High School to further sporting success at a national level.
