Congratulations to Scotland's Latest World Champion
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Scotland’s Alex Marshall on winning the World Indoor Singles Bowls Championship in Norfolk; notes that this is the fourth time he has won this championship, a feat unprecedented in the history of the sport; recognises and supports his recent MBE awarded in the 2007 New Year’s Honours List, and considers him to be a credit to East Lothian and to Scottish sport.
