Supporting Men's Health Week 2008
The motion
That the Parliament supports National Men’s Health Week 2008 which runs from 9 to 15 June; congratulates Men’s Health Forum Scotland for raising the profile of men’s health; believes that closer attention should be paid to men’s health with emphasis on prostate and testicular cancer, alcohol and drug dependency, heart disease, sexual health and diabetes; notes that this year’s theme is Men at Work, and urges everyone to get involved in the many events being held up and down the country to raise awareness of men’s health issues.
