Congratulating Aberdeen YMCA
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen YMCA on being awarded the City Partnership Prize by the City of Regensburg Council for what is considered the YMCA's outstanding service to the town-twinning through its work with CVJM Regensburg; believes that this is a prestigious award that acknowledges almost two decades of partnership between the two organisations, which has been established and maintained since 1994; notes that the prize will be presented at a ceremony in Regensburg's old town hall on 16 November 2013 as part of its annual City Freedom Day, and hopes that the YMCA has continued success with what it sees as this important partnership.
