Karate Success in Munich
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the athletes from the Aberdeen-based National Karate Federation led by Mr Ronnie Watt OBE ORS on their haul of 16 medals at the WKC World Open Karate Championships in Munich; considers this an excellent performance in a competition that attracted 400 competitors from some 15 countries and that reflects their hard work and dedication to training; notes that members of the team were also qualified to act as Senior Referee, Judge and Senior Coach after what it understands to be a rigorous examination, and wishes them every success for the future.
