Recognising the Impact of Volunteers

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the 18,000 volunteers from Scotland and across the Commonwealth who gave their own time and brought phenomenal energy and passion to the Commonwealth Games; recognises the significant impact of volunteering across the Games and thanks all of those volunteers whose hospitality and kindness have endeared Glasgow and Scotland to people from all over the Commonwealth, and congratulates Volunteer Scotland on its continuing efforts to promote a lasting legacy for volunteering in Scotland.
