Haghill Primary School, Eco Week
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates pupils from Haghill Primary School in Glasgow on launching a campaign to clean up local streets as part of the school’s Eco Week; understands that the pupils have identified dog mess as a problem in the Haghill area and have been raising awareness of the health dangers associated with it; notes that the pupils have designed a super hero called Doggy Doo to spearhead the campaign; hopes that the campaign will encourage dog owners to clean up after their pets, and welcomes efforts by pupils and staff to improve the local environment.
