Cupar's Britain in Bloom Gold Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates everyone in Cupar in Fife on it winning what it considers a highly-coveted Britain in Bloom Gold award, which was presented at a special ceremony in Sunderland; understands that Cupar in Bloom, and various other organisations in the area, put months of hard work into creating stunning floral displays in the town; notes that this is the second time that Cupar has been invited to take part in Britain in Bloom, with its 2010 entry winning the Silver Gilt award, and further congratulates Cupar in Bloom on winning what it understands was a surprise award in recognition of its work that involves young people from schools, nurseries and Elmwood College.
