Welcoming the Inaugural Pentlands Book Festival
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the inaugural Pentlands Book Festival, which will run from 23 to 28 November 2015 in Juniper Green and Currie; understands that the events will cater to all ages and provide opportunities to meet Scottish authors; considers that it provides a fantastic opportunity for locals to share in the pleasure of books at open events that are free of charge; congratulates Juniper Green and Currie community councils on organising the festival with Currie Public Library, and wishes all participants and attendees an enjoyable six days.
