Subsea UK Launches New Schools Education Programme
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Aberdeenshire West-based business, Subsea UK, on the school programme that it has put together to encourage young people to take up science; understands that its work to help teachers create engaging science curricula through captivating examples and innovative graphics help to make science more accessible to young people; commends the company's chief executive, Neil Gordon, for supporting education and working closely with schools to provide resources necessary to inspire interest in the sciences; notes that the resource is free and available to all schools throughout Scotland, and wishes Subsea UK all the best in carrying out what it considers this inventive programme.
