Medal for Meritorious Conduct for Robbie Dalgleish
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Robbie Dalgleish, whom it considers a very brave visually impaired teenager, on receiving a prestigious scouting award after overcoming a difficult year dealing with a genetic disorder; recognises that the Medal for Meritorious Conduct is issued for conduct involving a "high degree of courage, endurance, initiative or devotion to duty, often under suffering, without necessarily involving any element of risk"; recognises that the 15-year-old Royal Blind School student has a genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis type I, which has come with complications that have mostly required that he use a wheelchair; considers that it has taken hard work and dedication for Robbie to attend frequent Scout sessions for around four years, and congratulates Robbie on his passion and inspiring efforts both within and without the 77th Braid Scout Group.
