Congratulations to Marc Winsland and Thanks to Muzdalfa Ahmed
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Marc Winsland on his election by Dundee Youth Council (DYC) as its representative on the Scottish Youth Parliament to serve alongside Andrew Ross, Emily Mather, Tony Anderson and the DYC Chair, James Thomson, as the member for LGBT Youth Scotland; also thanks the outgoing MSYP, Muzdalfa Ahmed, for her service and wishes her well as a member of the UK Youth Parliament for Leeds; further commends the work of youth councils across Scotland in supporting young people to tackle issues in their communities through projects, activities and campaigns, and further commends the Scottish Youth Parliament as a democratically elected voice of Scotland’s young people committed to ensuring that young people are heard by the decision makers of Scotland, with recent campaigning around the Transplantation (Authorisation of Removal of Organs etc.) (Scotland) Bill a prime example.
