Sikhs in Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the enormous contribution made by the Sikh community in Scotland in a variety of sectors, particularly the arts, music, drama, media and sports; congratulates all the winners of the Sikhs in Scotland Achievement Awards 2008, held in the Parliament and organised by the Mel-Milaap Community Centre; notes the excellent work done by the Mel-Milaap centre in promoting the true message of Sikhism and carrying out valuable work across Scotland, and urges everyone to pay a visit to http://www.sikhsinscotland.org/.
