Project Oskar, Paisley
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kibbleworks on its initiative in Paisley, Project Oskar, which is a reuse and recycling hub that aims to help reduce landfill; understands that the project has led to a number of jobs and training places being established and is one of several run by Kibbleworks for 16 to 24-year-olds from the area; notes that it has a retail outlet for refurbished second-hand goods that it believes are reasonably-priced; understands that it also provides a range of other services, which include cleaning, painting and decorating and grasscutting; considers Project Oskar good news all round, and congratulates all the staff who work hard and show commitment to make it a success.
