Blythswood Care
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work of Blythswood Care; notes that the organisation combines the Christian message with practical assistance for people in need at home and overseas, irrespective of their political or religious beliefs or ethnic origins; recognises that the 2013 Shoe Box Appeal is now underway; further notes that this is the 20th anniversary of Blythswood running the appeal; understands that over 1.6 million boxes have been donated and distributed through the appeal over the years; considers that filling a shoebox is a very simple way to help Blythswood Care in its mission to bring hope and practical help to people in need, and congratulates all those involved who work hard to ensure that help is given.
