Breaking Ground Project, Eglinton Park, Irvine
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the Breaking Ground garden project at Eglinton Country Park in Irvine; notes that clients are referred by their GPs with conditions ranging from mild depression to severe brain trauma; congratulates participants who have converted an empty area into what it considers a most attractive garden, creating an educational resource and space for the public to enjoy; notes that the garden space includes raised flower and vegetables beds for wheelchair access; considers that this environment greatly helps the clients who have taken part in the project, and congratulates everyone involved who works very hard to support the clients and make the project a success.
