Congratulations to Capability Scotland's Corseford School

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Capability Scotland’s Corseford School, which is in Renfrewshire, on its new digital sensory theatre; notes that it cost £40,721 with money raised by the efforts of parents, staff and the community in addition to a grant of £20,000 from the People’s Postcode Trust; understands that it measures 21ft x 20ft and is fitted with wind machines, projectors, fog machines, aroma panels and that it can transport up to seven users at any one time to any scenario imaginable, such as a rainforest or a Grand Prix; believes that its fully-programmable technology is beneficial for interactive teaching purposes, stimulation, motivation and relaxation; understands that sensory technology can have a transformational impact on disabled children’s health and education; notes that this technology will also be used by 100 disabled adults who are supported by Capability Scotland and stay within 10 miles of Corseford, and wishes its users, and the staff and pupils at the school, every success.
