Delivering Season’s Greetings to Postal Workers
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the efforts of Royal Mail workers during the festive season; notes what it sees as the extra burden that is placed on workers in delivery and sorting offices by the increased volume of parcels and cards; understands that the introduction of the so-called Black Friday initiative and other sales schemes has added to the increased workload of postal staff; notes that delivery workers often have to work in cold and icy weather conditions, and wishes all Royal Mail staff a safe and happy Christmas.
