Congratulations to The Brain Tumour Charity
The motion
That the Parliament recognises what it considers the great work of The Brain Tumour Charity in Scotland; understands that brain tumours are the biggest killer cancer in children and adults under the age of 40 and that the charity is the largest dedicated funder of brain tumour research in Europe, leading the way in terms of research and development of treatments, and congratulates it on its HeadSmart campaign, which aims to raise awareness of childhood brain tumours and has seen the average diagnosis time for children with brain tumours drop from 9.1 weeks to 6.9 weeks.
