Congratulations to MS Therapy Centre

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates MS Therapy Centre Lothian (MSTC) on its 30th anniversary; considers that, throughout those 30 years, the charity has provided practical and beneficial information, alongside support services and innovative therapies to people with multiple sclerosis (MS) in Edinburgh and the Lothians; recognises what it sees as the dedicated and diligent care that the centre’s staff and volunteers provide and have consistently provided; acknowledges the positive contribution that the charity has made to people with MS and their families in Edinburgh and the Lothians and to increasing public awareness of MS throughout Scotland; welcomes the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party charity fundraiser that the MSTC is planning for 28 March 2014 and encourages the public to take part by hosting their own tea parties in aid of the charity; extends its best wishes to all patients, staff and volunteers taking part in the anniversary celebrations, and wishes the centre every success with the fundraiser.
