The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the Royal Bank of Scotland's (RBS) announcement of an initiative to support entrepreneurs in Scotland by turning part of its headquarters in Edinburgh into an entrepreneurial hub for start-up businesses; understands that, in partnership with the social enterprise, Entrepreneurial Spark, the centre will, over the coming years, provide free facilities and business advice for a significant number of entrepreneurs; believes that it will bring together, and provide free facilities for, business support agencies from all over the country; understands that it is supported by organisations such as the Scottish EDGE Fund, Entrepreneurial Scotland, the Prince's Trust, Business Gateway, Edinburgh Napier University, Common Purpose, We are the Future, Infomatics Ventures, Interface Online and The Lens; believes that all of these bodies play a vital role in helping entrepreneurs to succeed and generate jobs and wealth for Scotland; understands that RBS has already helped Entrepreneurial Spark set up hubs elsewhere across the UK, and wishes this latest venture every success.
